B&B Rosandra

Who we are

We are Annalisa and Michele, with our four children Teresa, Margherita, Tommaso and Agnese we have been managing this Bed&breakfast since 2013.
We have been living in Val Rosandra for 15 years now and over the years we have renovated the house.

From the old barn, with great effort, we have made​​this bed and breakfast that we're very proud of and that seems to be a little treasure to be shared with others.
This is a special place where guests are treated like special people!



Our style

We have personally renovated the barn considering the historical context and the environment where it is inserted. With exposed stone walls, wood floors, rustic and simple materials, but also attention to detail and comfort.


We believe in sustainability, and we try to respect the environment that surrounds us as for example from the waste separation, but also in the choice of consumption and  rhythms of life.

We do not have television since many years and, we admit, there is not even in B&B. However, you will have the opportunity to start to read a book from our library book-crossing, take it home as a souvenir or leave it "around" for someone else. And much more!

BREAKFAST

We prefer to offer local products / zero km and products from fair trade.


Our breakfast includes:

   - coffee, milk, cocoa
   - teas, infusions
   - fruit juice
   - bread
   - jams of various kinds
   - honey
   - yogurt
   - cereals
   - croissants, donuts


We prepare breakfast on request for special diets (allergies etc).

If the weather permits you can have breakfast in the garden




SLOW TOURISM

Is a new and exciting concept of the journey in which the guest enters the territory visited to know it, live it and savor it consciously and sustainably.
The slow pace of the trip is not necessarily long time-consuming but offers the opportunity to discover and rediscover the natural and cultural riches of the area, contaminating their own experiences with those of others, receive services and products that are authentic and original, live emotions

Double room: 60-180 Euro
Extra bed (max 2): 15-30 Euro


Children less then 10 years, accompanied, are free of charge.

How to reach us

by train
  • from Trieste Central Station: bus lines 40 or 41 to the Square of Boljunec
  • walk to Val Rosandra for approx 200. mt. The B&B is the second last house on the left (ocher-orange) before the old quarry
by car
  • leave the higway to Dolina-Wartsila
  • turn left and drive along the Wartsila factory (to the left of the road)
  • after the bridege over the creek Rosandra, ate the roundabout towards Boljunec (road 11) for approx. 1 km up to the main square
  • go straight to the Val Rosandra for further 200 meters. The B&B is the second last house on teh left (ocher-orange) before the old quarry
